  1. Mitsubishi Press Install

It’s an exciting time here at Pyramid Press and we would like to share our news with you all!

We’ve invested in the latest technology with the installation of a Mitsubishi Diamond B1 press, and together with its extended dryer and coating unit we are able to apply a fabulous choice of luxury matt, silk or high gloss finishes and not forgetting the super-velvety ‘soft touch’ coating.

And it’s not just technology we’ve invested in… we’ve also added 6 new members of staff to our team, bringing a wealth of experience and new ideas.

We are all looking forward to offering our customers new and exciting print services, while maintaining the high-quality service we very much pride ourselves on.

On Sunday Pyramid Press’ MD Jonathan Smith completed East Midlands second 10k run.

997 athletes entered the event at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham, ranging from experienced to beginners.

From the hundreds that ran Jonathan managed to finish 200th and in a time of 48 minutes and 8 seconds, which is pretty impressive!

Jonathan calls himself a newbie on the running scene and has participated in various 10k runs across the UK since 2015.

Every Saturday morning he travels to Sherwood Pines Forest Park with a few work colleagues to participate in a parkrun.

“I think the parkruns are good practice for the 10k runs.” He said.

j9Jonathan hopes to beat his quickest time of 46 minutes 40 seconds in the near future, gaining more experience at Sherwood pines and also charity runs for Equation in Nottingham.

We certainly made an ‘Impact’ with our new client.

It’s always great to work with new clients, especially when they feedback how they enjoyed working with us.

“Pyramid Press were incredibly helpful at every step of the process, making time to show us around, explain every detail to us and really supported us in our decision process. As a student magazine, it is particular important to us to constantly improve but at the same time keep the feel and style cohesive over the years. Pyramid Press has helped us achieve that. We would like to thank Jas Sandhu in particularly and the entire team for being so patient, efficient and most importantly of all honest. “  IMPACT Magazine.

We invest a lot of time and effort in our Apprenticeship Scheme.  It is always pleasing to see how our apprentices grow in confidence and add real value to Pyramid.

Reece, our I.T Apprentice, has excelled and his hard work has been rewarded by being shortlisted to attend a prestigious event at The House of Lords.  Reece is one of only 30 students selected by West Nottinghamshire College to attend this event.  The aim of event is to celebrate the college’s work with employers and apprentices with senior politicians and other like-minded colleges and employers.

We all very proud of Reece’s achievement.
