New Heidelberg ten colour press

In August 2006 a lorry arrived with the first delivery of printing units for our new Heidelberg Speedmaster ten colour press. Another five lorries and two weeks later it had been unloaded, unpacked, positioned and the first sheet of paper was making its way down into the feeder.

It's was an incredible sight to see Heidelberg putting this monstrous piece of printing equipment into it's new home, each printing unit weighing in at nearly seven tonnes and there are 10 units. It was a good job that when the factory was built we had the floor re-inforced!
